Jonas Westring is a licensed Physical Therapist both in the USA and in his native Sweden, who has been involved with yoga, mind-body health, and travels to the East since 1981. He specializes in Therapeutic Yoga and Thai Yoga Bodywork: teaching internationally and throughout the USA including the Omega Institute and Kripalu Center on the US East coast. Jonas also conducts annual group tours to Buddhist Thailand. With his diverse and unique background Jonas applies a Western biomechanical perspective in his work as he transmits the essence and spirit of Eastern healing traditions with clarity, ease, and joy. His studies in Yoga include extensive training in India in the Iyengar method. His approach to teaching balances attention to detail with the care and compassion of a true healer.
